Novatek says IFRS net profit falls 39% to 43 bln rbl in Jan–Mar

MOSCOW, Apr 25 (PRIME) -- The net profit of Russian independent gas producer Novatek attributable to shareholders fell 39% on the year to 43.1 billion rubles in January–March, as calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the company said in a report Wednesday.

Revenue increased 16% 179.4 billion rubles, while normalized earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) grew 12% to 76.3 billion rubles.
